Our vision

Our mission

To make advanced AI genuinely usable by organizations that don't have a research lab attached — the regional firm, the nonprofit, the operating company, the team of nine. The capability gap between them and the largest enterprises is now a tooling problem, not a talent problem. That is a solvable thing, and it is the work we chose.

Our story

AI is no longer optional. Confident, competent adoption of it still is.

Spring Valley Consulting was founded to close that gap.

Almost every leadership team we meet has already reached the same conclusion: this technology matters, and standing still is a decision with consequences. What they don't have is a credible path from that conclusion to a system running in production, owned by their own people, that a board or a regulator would be comfortable with.

That path is what we build. We are not a research shop and we are not a reseller. We are the people who sit inside the workflow for a few weeks, work out where the leverage actually is, build the thing, and stay until your team can run it without us.

The organizations that win with AI won't be the ones with the best model access. They'll be the ones who redesigned the work.

A partner for the decisions, not just the build

Most organizations understand that AI is strategically significant. What they lack is a defensible plan — one that balances ambition against risk, speed against governance, and new tooling against the culture of the people who have to use it.

Working as an embedded partner, we help organizations:

  • Define an AI strategy that ladders up to actual business objectives, not to the technology
  • Build governance that satisfies auditors and insurers without stalling every initiative
  • Sequence a multi-year roadmap so early wins fund and de-risk the later ones
  • Evaluate vendors honestly, including the cases where the answer is "buy, don't build"
  • Design the architecture, then deliver against it with measurable outcomes attached

Human-centered AI, by design

The failure mode we see most often isn't technical. It's a well-built system that nobody trusts, introduced to a team that was never told why it exists or what it means for their role. Adoption is not a change-management line item bolted on at the end; it is most of the work.

So our engagements are weighted toward the people side as much as the platform side:

  • Leadership fluency — enough understanding to make good calls, without the hype
  • Organizational readiness, so the rollout lands on prepared ground
  • Cultural alignment and earned trust, built by shipping small things that work
  • Responsible, documented, reviewable use of AI at whatever scale you reach

We believe AI should widen what your people are capable of, not narrow what they're responsible for. Judgment, accountability, and relationships stay with humans. Everything mechanical around them is fair game.

Beyond the engagement

Part of our work sits outside client projects entirely. We publish what we learn, teach where we're useful, and argue — in public, when it matters — for standards that make AI adoption boring in the best sense: predictable, reviewable, and unremarkable.

A field where every organization has to rediscover the same lessons privately is a field that moves slowly. We would rather it moved well.

Who we work with

We are deliberately a good fit for some organizations and a poor fit for others. We work best with:

Owner-operators

Owner-operators and leadership teams at small and mid-sized companies

Nonprofits and civic teams

Nonprofits and civic organizations doing more than their staffing should allow

Professional services

Professional services firms where expertise is the product and time is the constraint

Past the pilot

Teams that have run a pilot, learned something, and now want the real version

Production over evaluation

Anyone who would rather have one system in production than five in evaluation

Leadership

With a background in technology, systems design, and business automation, Mr. Levette has spent years helping organizations simplify complex processes and make better use of their time. That work naturally led to artificial intelligence—not as a replacement for human judgment, but as a practical tool for amplifying it. Today, Mr. Levette focuses on building thoughtful AI-powered solutions that help teams work smarter, move faster, and turn ambitious ideas into real-world results.

Get in touch

If any of this sounds like your situation, let's talk.

A first call is a conversation about your work, not a sales process. If we're not the right fit we'll say so, and usually point you somewhere better.
